I mentioned in an earlier email that I am proposing to put in an 
application for the formation of a new Special Interest Group (SIG) 
under the auspices of the Australian Association for Research in 
Education (AARE) which runs a major conference every year and 
produces a journal - The Australian Educational Researcher.

Further to my last email, after discussion with a few people I have 
come up with a title for the SIG which attempts to be as inclusive as 
possible of people working with radical European or European derived 
theory in the area of education.

The proposed title is:
Contemporary theory, poststructuralism and governmentality.
