So what does anyone feel about the 1971 debate between Noam Chomsky and
Michel Foucault? How do you feel Foucault did on that?
I thought usually Foucault was generally ahead of Chomsky and perhaps at
times they were both talking past each other or agreeing on a few things.
I thought Foucault won to be short, but I could be wrong.

Do you think the debate was colored to a degree by his short-lived Maoist
leanings at the time and therefore his points only make sense in that
context?
