It is difficult to predict what a mind like Foucault's would make of the AIDS controversy.
I would invite those who are interested in this issue to look at the International Council of Nurses' recent press release on AID "Stigma, Discrimination

I suspect that Foucault would develop his arguments around these, or similar themes, rather than around debates about biochemistry, which are more
properly the domain of those who specialise in biochemistry and medicine etc.
