Thanks for the reply Andrew.

I do not know what 'tactical knowledge' means. On page 83 of
Power/Knowledge Foucault says '...make use of this knowledge tactically
today' ... so I suggest that the historical knowledge could be referred to
as a tactical knowledge. What does erudite knowledge mean?
