There is the three volume Postwar French Thought
series published on The New Press. The first is
French history, second is classical studies, third is
literary criticism and philsophy. I own the first
volume and find that the introduction not only gives a
very good background to French historical thinking but
the excerpts that are included are very good.
Foucault is represented in this edition. I am sure he
is in the the last one as well.
