Yes I've read it, along with Culture and Imperialism and his books on music
and literature/theory. I own his books on Palestine, but as yet unread. I
thought they were all interesting, but Orientalism was clearly the standout
text. My interest was particularly in the way Said took into account issues
of space in his analysis.

You probably know about Bhabha and Spivak's work in this area: none of them
are exactly Foucauldians but some interesting links can be made.

What's your emphasis?
