Responding to Clare O'Farrell:
In a footnote from his book on Foucault, Deleuze mentions a film version of
I, Pierre Riviere... The film maker was one Rene Allio. From Deleuze's
remarks, the film sounds quite interesting.

his work in any way? The only one I know is Godard's _Les chinoises_
where Godard basically pours scorn on _The Order of Things_
