I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on comparing the concepts of the
simulacrum or mask in Foucault, Deleuze, and Derrida. Specifically, I am
interested in Foucault's "Nietzsche, Genealogy, History", Deleuze's "The
Simulacrum and Ancient Philosophy", and Derrida's _Spurs_. It seems that
there is some continuity in the essays by Foucault and Deleuze with regard
to the concept of masks or simulacra, but Derrida appears to be taking this
in another direction with his "veils." Any thoughts?
