Some weeks ago, someone asked if anyone knew the title of the Borges story
that Foucault refers to at the beginning of _The Order of Things_; the
same question was recently asked over on the Deleuze-Guattari list, and
was answered thusly: "The Analytical Language of John Wilkins", which is
collected in _Borges, A Reader_.

Standard disclaimers apply, because I haven't yet tracked it down
myself, but hopefully this solves the mystery. :)

suicide and the birth of a certain form of political consciousness."
