I don't have the text to hand, but I think there is a reference to
tools in the 'Interview with Geographers' in the Power / Knowledge
collection of interviews and other writings (edited by Colin Gordon?).
When asked why he hasn't written about geography, F. invites the
geographers to do it themsleves - using his tools and gadgets if they
are helpful - and transforming them as necessary.
