Eric:

For an excellant discussion of all three of the authors (you cite) concern with
power/knowledge (or knowledge/power, whatever the case may be), see John
Ransom's new book _Foucault's Discipline: The Politics of Subjectivity_
(especially the first three chapters).

Hope this helps,

All the best,

A 'liberal', if words mean anything, is a lover of liberty.
Unfortunately, not all lovers of liberty are 'liberals'.
The world is full of individuals and groups who
demand liberty for themselves, but deny it to
other individuals and groups - deny it theoretically in
stating their principles; deny it practically in applying
their principles. . .

R.F. Alfred Hoernle (1919)
