Hi Stephen. Another Canadian example (though, of course, such
developments are not limited to Canada).

Here in British Columbia, we yesterday had a provincial election, in
which the Liberal (?) candidate for Premier's position on the minimum
wage was that it should be lowered (rather than tied to inflation as the
NDP candidate advocated), on the grounds that the minimum wage increased
the costs of the employer, and hence would result in loss of jobs. Now,
aside from this being a non-sensical claim, it also quite nicely
demonstrates that capitalists are quite willing to impoverish in order to
gain wealth (this candidate is also a property developer - read: asshole
landlord). Thankfully, he lost.

Kill the rich.
