Do I sense that underlying both sides is a notion that what is "natural" is
"right"? Otherwise, why does it matter, since it is all discursive anyway?

Pardon the naive, non-philosophic quality of this little note, but some
people do have to live in a (discursive?) world in which people are born,
live, suffer and die - maybe so that there can be a discourse about it?
