i just finished a paper using madness and civilization as well as
kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling, regarding Aguirre, Wrath of God by Herzog.
so you might get somewhere by viewing Aguirre.
as far as photographic enlargements go , check out Map of the Human
Heart, I'm unsure of the director, but it stars Jason Lee. Also see The
American Friend, which i think has an enlargement of a target, Until the
End of the World and Kings of the Road, all by Wim Wenders. Another good
site to check is michael bischoff's senior thesis on Wenders and Heidegger,
and the link between technology and film. You can reach that by the search
ereignis or Heidegger.
