Re: MacKinnon and Foucault

I think what Foucault might be talking about people like Newt Gingrich 
who wants to have absoulte control of every single thing in the 
Republican Congress.  I mean by having members of his own party be on his 
good side and share his views in order to be a committie chair and so 
forth.  After all look what Hitler did when he gained absolute power of 
his country of Germany.  It could be happening right hear in America with 
Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, all demogods.  And part of being a demogod 
and achiving power is being smart and using history to ones advantage.  
Thus, I think it can be said to much power can be dangerous because one 
can get greedy and grave for more.  I think that is what foucault was 
thinking about.
