Macey bio

This isn't a resend, since (churlishly ignoring Malgosia's advice) I
already deleted the original message.
 
Anyway, I've just finished the Macey bio, and sort of liked it, but
didn't see where it added much except for biographical details. I
did find useful Macey's comments about the importance of Canguilhem
for F.
 
Steve Meinking has commented that he found it useful, but did not
say why, and I haven't seen (I think) any other comments on the
book.
 
So...how did others of you react to it?
