On Heidegger-
Where does Foucault say that he never read Being and Time?
>From the Semiotext(e) interviews, Foucault mentions reading
Heidegger and Nietzsche together in 1954 or 1955. Foucault's
writing, even in Death and the Labyrinth, uses Heidegger's
explication of Nietzsche's concept of *eternal return* (a use
I have not seen elsewhere). Foucault asserted that reading
Heidegger and Nietzsche together had a profound influence.
It might be fun to read Habermas' essay on Foucault in Normon
Cousins Hoy's edited volume on Foucault.
