Hi all,

I'm writing from Melbourne, Australia and have just begun working on a PhD.
I'm aiming to explicate the ethico-political potentials of contemporary
spiritual practices, through a close examination of a particular strand of
"Western" Buddhism, to interrogate the thesis of the "postsecular"
(suggested by writers like John D. Caputo and Mark C. Taylor, for example).

I'm wondering if anyone has read Jeremy Carrette's Foucault and Religion:
Spiritual Corporality and Political Spirituality and also his Religion and
Culture, a collection of lectures, essays, and interviews by Foucault on
religious ideas. What are your thoughts?

Cheers,
Edwin
