[Foucault-L] Definition of Discourse

Can anyone point me towards any writing where Foucault clearly defines his
understanding of "discourse" as gaining power precisely through absence or
lack of clarity? Also, would anyone care to comment on this definition?
I'm trying to better understand it as I incorporate it into something I am
working on.
